Stefan Jarić is employed at the Center for Sensing Technologies as a Research Assistant and a final-year PhD student in materials physics at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences at the University of Novi Sad. Stefan works on the development and research of new solutions in the field of biosensors based on graphene field effect transistors and specific synthetic receptors (aptamers) for the detection of various analytes in the area of environmental protection (toxins) and medicine (biomarkers). His expertise is developing in the direction of micro and nanofabrication of sensor platforms (photolithography, physical vapor deposition of materials), characterization of materials (Raman spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy) and electrical characteristics of biosensors.
