Kristina Petrović is a project manager at the Center for Biosystems at the BioSense Institute. She received her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Agriculture, the University of Belgrade, in 2013, on the topic of characterization of phytopathogenic fungi that cause soybean disease complex. Kristina Petrović has experience in various methods of characterizing soybean diseases. Her research is related to finding soybean resistance to pathogens, which is essential in agriculture, the food sector, and environmental protection. During 2010 and 2011, she attended the Centro di Ricerca per la Patologia Vegetale (CRA-PAV) in Rome, Italy, for professional training in the field of molecular characterization of phytopathogenic fungi, and completed postdoctoral specialization at the South Dakota State University, Brookings, USA, during 2017 and 2018. She has participated in several national and international projects and was the work package coordinator within the European ECOBREED project H2020. Kristina Petrović is the author or co-author of 90 scientific papers in international and national journals, a book of abstracts from international and national conferences, and patents. She is a member of the European Legume Hub Association Board, The American Phytopathological Society, The Australasian Plant Pathology Society, and the Plant Protection Society of Serbia.
