Đorđe Vujić is a Junior research assistant at the Center for Information Technologies at the BioSens Institute in Novi Sad. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. His undergraduate thesis focused on the “Synthesis of C-homo lactam derivatives of bile acids,” while his master’s research was titled “Investigation of the content of selected monoaromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons in the Danube using a portable mass spectrometer.”

Following his studies, he worked in a laboratory specializing in food contaminant analysis, where he gained hands-on experience with pesticide residues, mycotoxins, and acrylamide. Additionally, he was involved in food quality analysis, including the determination of sugar, amino acid, preservative, artificial sweetener, and vitamin content.

He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad, continuing his work in the field of chemical analysis and environmental monitoring.
