Jelena Jovančević

Position:Junior Research Assistant
Jelena Jovančević completed her undergraduate and master’s studies in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad. In October 2024, she enrolled in doctoral studies in Chemical Engineering at the same faculty. During her master’s studies, she developed a strong interest in data analysis and software-based processing of results, which she applied in her research on the porosity of food products using the Python programming language.
Additionally, during training in Norway focused on artificial intelligence, she expanded her knowledge in this field, emphasizing the application of advanced technological solutions in scientific research and the further development of innovation across various disciplines.
Alongside her academic work, she gained practical experience at Toyo Tires, where she worked on process optimization and improving production quality.
She is currently employed as a Junior Research Assistant at the BioSense Institute, where she explores the application of artificial intelligence in 3D food printing, with a focus on optimizing formulations and process parameters using neural networks.
