Wearable electronics for application in precision agriculture
Implementation period: 19/05/2016 - 19/05/2017
GA number: 114-451-555/2016-02
Type of Project: National
Project aim: Development of critical components for wearable electronics for aplication in precision agriculture.
About the project: Current demands in wearable electronics for application in precision agriculture are small dimensions, low cost, and flexibility of devices. The most critical part in the design of wearable electronics devices is a power interface. Research in this project is divided into three tasks. The first task is focused on development of planar, flexible magnetic components. The second task is focused on development of components for energy harvesting. The third task is focused on development of components for energy storage. A high degree of flexibility and miniaturization will be required for fabrication methods. Possible application of the results is in small, wearable and wireless systems, which are used in precision agriculture as well as in health applications, monitoring, industry, etc.
