BioSense Institute is pleased to announce that our director Prof.Dr. Vladimir Crnojević participated as a moderator at the United Nations Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (STI Forum 2026), held from 5–7 May 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The STI Forum is the United Nations’ annual platform dedicated to science, technology and innovation within the framework of the Technology Facilitation Mechanism (TFM), aimed at strengthening international cooperation and accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Forum brings together representatives of governments, international organizations, academia, industry and civil society from around the world.
Significance is given by the fact that Prof. Dr. Vladimir Crnojević is a member of the UN Ten-Member Group, an advisory body composed of eminent international experts in science, technology and innovation, supporting the implementation of the TFM and the organization of the STI Forum.
This year’s Forum was held under the theme: “Transformative, equitable and coordinated science, technology and innovation for the 2030 Agenda and a sustainable future for all.” Participation in the role of moderator represents significant international recognition and confirms expertise and global engagement in the field of science, technology and innovation, while also contributing to stronger international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The Forum sessions and official programme were available through United Nations platforms, while the event was also streamed live via UN Web TV.
