Zorica Novaković is employed as a Junior Research Assistant at the Center for Sensor Technologies of the BioSense Institute. She completed her undergraduate and master’s studies at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at the University of Novi Sad. She is currently in her first year of doctoral studies at the faculty of the same name in Novi Sad. She is a member of the Serbian Chemical and Biochemical Society, the Club of Young Chemists, and UNS SRNA – Association of Serbian Women in Science. At the Biosense Institute, during the realization of her master’s thesis on the subject of different types of synthesis and characterization of ZnO nanoparticles, Zorica Novakovic had the opportunity to, in addition to various characterization techniques, such as SEM, XRD, TG/DSC analysis, DLS, UV/VIS spectroscopy, she also gained experience in the field of manufacturing technology, such as screen printing and inkjet printing. Her research is related to the development of electrochemical biosensors, which are used in agriculture and the food sector.
