Teodora Despotovski

Teodora Despotovski has a Bachelor’s (2022.) and a Master’s degree (2023.) in Biochemistry, obtained at the Faculty of Science, University of Novi Sad. She is pursuing PhD studies in Biochemistry and working as a Junior Researcher at the BioSense Institute. During her studies, she received a scholarship from the Fund for Young Talents of Serbia, through which she also did an internship at the BioSense Institute. Moreover, she received a scholarship from the University of Novi Sad and participated in the Erasmus+ program at the Summer School of Chemistry (TU Graz).  She is currently focusing on designing and developing biosensors (Janus droplets, microfluidics, hydrogels, etc.) that will be used to detect various analytes important for environmental protection and human health.
