Petar Stamenković

Position:Junior Researcher at CST.
Petar graduated from Faculty of technical sciences in Novi Sad, Serbia in 2025 in the field of embedded engineering, with the topic of formal verification of a RISC-V processor. He finished a program of electronics, energetics and telecommunications with specialization in embedded systems and algorithms. He started his PhD studies in the same field, this time with additional artificial intelligence and computer vision topics. Both bachelor and master thesis are in the field of digital hardware verification, and they are results of group work. He also worked on various projects in the field of digital hardware design, programming, electronics, and machine learning.
During his studies, Petar completed a couple of internships, amongst which he visited BioSense Institute twice. The first time was in 2024 where he participated in Codex project, and the second time was in 2025 where he worked on plain estimation and blueberry weed detection.
He is the winner of a Dositeja Scholarship in 2023. He also won third place on an international student competition Elektrijada in Ohrid in 2023, second place on a team competition IEEE EV Days in Novi Sad in 2024 and a first place for a best master thesis in the field of electronics in 2025 on his faculty.
