Jovana Paskaš

Jovana Paskaš has been employed as a research trainee at the BioSens Institute since April 2025. She is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, where she completed her Bachelor’s studies in the Materials Engineering module (2023) and her Master’s studies in the same field (2024).
During her studies, her research was focused on the synthesis of 2D materials-Mxenes, as well as their characterization and functionalization. She has participated in various scientific workshops and conferences, and was also involved in organizing one of the conferences.
At the Center for Sensor Technologies, her research includes the development, synthesis, and characterization in the field of 2D materials, as well as their potential applications.
