Jovana Kojić, born in 1986, holds the title of Principal Research Fellow and works at the Center for Biosystems. She obtained her M.Sc. degree in Food Science and Technology in 2012 from the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad. Following this, she advanced her doctoral academic career at the Institute of Food Technology (FINS), where she worked for 12 years. Throughout her career, she has led accredited laboratories for the quality assessment of sugar beet and cereals. She defended her doctoral dissertation in 2018 at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad.

Her research focuses on studying food constituents, the reutilization of food waste, bioactive compounds, and plant-based materials. She possesses extensive expertise in developing chromatographic methods to enhance the nutritional value of foods, with a particular emphasis on products derived from cereals and pseudocereals.

As the leader of a research group specializing in the food-technological design of 3D-printed snack products, Jovana oversees the creation of nutritionally balanced and consumer-friendly formulations. By combining advanced scientific research with cutting-edge 3D printing technology, she delivers innovative food solutions that meet the demands of modern consumers.

Throughout her career, she has participated in and led numerous national and international projects. Jovana is a member of the Association of Food Technologists and the Technology Transfer Community of Serbia. Her work is dedicated to facilitating technology transfer between academia and industry, transforming research into practical, real-world applications.
