Ivana Pejović

Ivana Pejović is a PhD candidate in Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad (UNSPMF), and a junior researcher at the BioSense Institute. Her research focuses on the metagenomic analysis of soil microbiomes, with particular emphasis on the diversity and functional role of microorganisms in natural and semi-natural habitats.
She completed her Master’s studies in Molecular Biology at UNSPMF and was also a scholarship holder of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (EMBC). Ivana has extensive experience in international academic cooperation, gained through her long-standing involvement with the Office for International Cooperation and Projects at UNSPMF.
