Dr Heman Kumar Ramiya Ramesh Babu has joined BioSense Institute as the senior researcher. Dr Heman completed his PhD in Biotechnology Engineering at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel (December 2018). Prior to his employment in Biosense, he worked as postdoctoral student at Institute of Physical Chemistry, Poland. Heman pursued his master’s degree in Bio-electronics and Nanotechnology at the Transnational University of Limburg, Belgium, and Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at Anna University, Chennai, India. His research interests include development of novel biosensing platforms, DNA/protein assay, microarray, surface modification of nanomaterials/surfaces and skillful in combining knowledge in molecular biology, nanotechnology and biophysics.
