Anastasija Čeprnić

Anastasija is a PhD student in ecology at the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad, where she previously obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degree. During her studies, she was an active member of several research sections within the Scientific Research Society of Biology and Ecology Students “Josif Pančić”. She coordinated the organization of student scientific-research camps and projects, performed functions within the Management Board of the Society, and was a member of the editorial team of the Magazine dedicated to nature protection – “Terenac”. She was awarded the “Dositeja” scholarship of the Fund for Young Talents for the academic year 2023/2024, thanks to which she had the opportunity for an internship at the “BioSens” Institute. Her research is directed towards Nature-based Solutions, research on soil organic carbon, and practical application of scientific results through cooperation with different stakeholders in land management.
