Aleksandra obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad. As a recipient of a French Government scholarship, she continued her studies in France in 2023, completing a Master’s program in Biorefinery at the University of Lille.

During her time in France, she spent six months at the European Center for Biotechnology and Bioeconomy within CentraleSupélec in Pomacle, gaining practical experience in the research and development sector of biotechnology. In October 2024, she enrolled in doctoral studies in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad.

At the Center for Biosystems, her research will focus on exploring the potential of fungal pellets derived from macrofungi for microbial cell immobilization, as well as the application of macro- and microalgae in the field of biotechnology. She will also be involved in work related to microbial biotechnology, with an emphasis on the detection and biological control of pathogens in agriculture.
