Sanja Brdar is a researcher at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. She received MSc degree from the University of Novi Sad in 2007. From June 2007 until September 2009, she had been working in Telvent DMS as software developer responsible for enterprise database design and development, data transformation tools and implementation of signal processing algorithms. Currently, she works toward the PhD degree and participates in projects within BioSense center. In 2010 she was awarded a ten-month Basileus fellowship and spent it for visiting Bioinformatics Laboratory at University of Ljubljana. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Data Mining and Bioinformatics. More specifically, she works on ensemble methods, data fusion, clustering and predictive modeling with applications in biology, agriculture, environmental sciences and health.

Branko Brkljač received the BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2009, and the M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications and Signal Processing from the same faculty in 2010.
He is currently employed as researcher at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, and is working towards Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Novi Sad. His research interests are: signal and image processing, pattern recognition and mobile communications.

Dr Crnojević is the Head of Department for Power, Electronics and Communications at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences – largest and one of the most significant university departments in Serbia, with almost 200 hundred employees and 15 FP7 projects.

Dr Vladimir Crnojević is the director of BioSense Center, multidisciplinary research center devoted to deployment of state-of-the-art ICT solutions in agriculture, forestry and environment. BioSense center is coordinating institution of several FP7 project: AgroSense, BalkanGEONet, MultiWaveS. Its pilot site is included in top 30 European highly instrumented observational sites within the FP7 project EXPEER. Dr Crnojević is the founder of the URSUS research group who realized several projects of technology transfer for domestic industrial clients. This group coordinates two EUREKA! projects and has published many internationally recognized scientific papers and technical solutions.
Dr Vladimir Crnojević authored or co-authored more than 50 conference and journal papers. He is the coordinator of several FP7 projects, two EUREKA! research projects for technology transfer, one national project of technology development, as well as participant in several other FP7, COST and national research projects. Dr Crnojević is also the coordinator of the projects TR-11022 and III44003 funded by the Serbian Ministry of science and technology development.
He has two patent applications (one US) and one internationally recognized improvement of software used world-wide.
Dr Crnojevic served as a reviewer for the most eminent international journals like IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing and several others. His main research interests include image processing, pattern recognition and wireless sensor networks.

Golden Paragraph
Predrag Lugonja is a research assistant at BioSense Center. He graduated in 2008 at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Department of Power, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering. He is currently in the second year of his PhD studies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences. Since 2009, he has been working at BioSense Center in the fields of GIS and remote sensing. He participates in several national and international research projects.

Marko Panić obtains MSc in electrical engineering from Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad in 2010. He works as research assistant at BioSense Research Center in the field of image processing, computer vision and machine learning, His particular research interests are image and video quality assessment, remote sensing and traffic surveillance. He is currently working on video quality assessment, analyzing features for detection of artifacts in video streams and for classification of agricultural crops in multispectral satellite images.
