Dragana Bajović received a dipl. ing. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia, in August 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, and Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica (ISR), Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon, Portugal, in May 2013. She also holds a B.M.Ed. degree from the School of Music, University of Belgrade. Since October 2013, she has been a research fellow at the BioSense Center, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. From June to September 2013, she was a postdoctoral researcher at IST. Her research interests include statistical signal processing and large deviations analysis for sensor networks. Full CV.

Dr Crnojević is the Head of Department for Power, Electronics and Communications at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences – largest and one of the most significant university departments in Serbia, with almost 200 hundred employees and 15 FP7 projects.

Dr Vladimir Crnojević is the director of BioSense Center, multidisciplinary research center devoted to deployment of state-of-the-art ICT solutions in agriculture, forestry and environment. BioSense center is coordinating institution of several FP7 project: AgroSense, BalkanGEONet, MultiWaveS. Its pilot site is included in top 30 European highly instrumented observational sites within the FP7 project EXPEER. Dr Crnojević is the founder of the URSUS research group who realized several projects of technology transfer for domestic industrial clients. This group coordinates two EUREKA! projects and has published many internationally recognized scientific papers and technical solutions.
Dr Vladimir Crnojević authored or co-authored more than 50 conference and journal papers. He is the coordinator of several FP7 projects, two EUREKA! research projects for technology transfer, one national project of technology development, as well as participant in several other FP7, COST and national research projects. Dr Crnojević is also the coordinator of the projects TR-11022 and III44003 funded by the Serbian Ministry of science and technology development.
He has two patent applications (one US) and one internationally recognized improvement of software used world-wide.
Dr Crnojevic served as a reviewer for the most eminent international journals like IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing and several others. His main research interests include image processing, pattern recognition and wireless sensor networks.

Tamara Ćeranić is currently in final year of PhD studies at Faculty of Technical Sciences, module Telecommunications and signal processing. She is author of over 10 scientific papers, most of which are related to biomedical signal processing, her current field of research interest. The other part of her research is related to transmiting signals over power lines and GPRS networks for which she was awarded with first Pupin award for the best master thesis in period 2007-2010. This has resulted in the publication of monograph on the subject of transmiting signals from the less accessible areas to dispatching centre.

Dušan Jakovetić obtained a dipl. ing. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia, in August 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, and Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica (ISR), Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon, Portugal, in May 2013. From June to September 2013, he was a postdoctoral researcher at IST. Since October 2013, he is a research fellow at the BioSense Center, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Malisa Marijan received the Dipl. Ing. degree in electrical engineering from University of Belgrade, Serbia, and the MSc and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from University of Rochester, NY in 2005, 2008, and 2012, respectively. He was postdoctoral research associate holding the Lady Davis Fellowship at Technion, Haifa in 2012. 

He is currently research fellow at BioSense Center, University of Novi Sad. His research is mostly focused on optimizing delta-sigma A/D converters to process minimum amount of data yet with specifically added redundancy that protects from circuit non-idealities. His area of interest includes delta-sigma A/D converter methods, compressed sensing, mathematical optimization, and error correction techniques.

Vladimir Ostojić works as a researcher at the Department of Telecommunications and Signal Processing at Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. His research field is linear and nonlinear biomedical signal processing and medical image processing. Vladimir works on on automatic artefact detection and delineation of blood pressure signals, adaptive contrast enhancement and adaptive denoising of x-ray images. Vladimir Petrović works as an Assistant Professor at Group for Telecommunications and Signal Processing of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. He has over 15 years of international experience in computer vision, medical imaging and information and data fusion research as well as numerous and fruitful collaborations with national and international industrial, governmental and academic partners. Miloš Radosavljević received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university in 2011. He is employed as a member of the BioSense Research Center at the project funded by Serbian Government, with research in the field of Video Communications, Video and Image Coding, Mobile Wireless Networks (in particular the analysis of LTE/LTE-A networks, H.264, HEVC, Video Streaming, etc.) Currently he works toward the Ph.D. degree and participates in projects within BioSense Center, working on several topics, some more practical and some more theoretical: 1) Dynamic Adaptive HTTP Streaming (DASH): current solutions and future improvements, 2) High Efficient Video Coding (HEVC) using intra prediction and quadtree based partitioning, and 3) Multimedia Broadcasting and Index Coding Problem: theory, existing solutions, improvements and relations to similar schemes (e.g., expanding window approach).

Olivera Šveljo works as a part time Assistant Professor at Group for Telecommunications and Signal Processing of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad and at Diagnostic Imaging Centre, Oncology Institute of Vojvodina, Sremska Kamenica. Tatjana Loncar-Turukalo received Dipl.-Ing., Mr.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering from Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. She works as assistant professor.at Department of Telecommunications and Signal Processing, University of Novi Sad. Her research interests are in the field of biomedical signal processing with application to cardiovascular signals, EEG and ECoG and physiological modelling. Dejan Vukobratovic received Dipl.-Ing, Mr.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2001, 2005 and 2008, respectively. Since 2008, he is Assistant Professor with the Department of Power, Electronics and Communication Engineering, University of Novi Sad. From June 2009 until December 2010, he was on leave as Marie Curie Intra-European Fellow (FP7-PEOPLE-2008-IEF project MMSTREAM) at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. From 2011-2014, his research at the University of Novi Sad is supported in part by Marie Curie European Reintegration Grant (FP7-PEOPLE-2010-ERG project MMCODESTREAM).

His research interests include sparse-graph codes, iterative decoding and network coding with applications in multimedia communications and wireless sensor networks. He served as a TPC member of a number of recent conferences/workshops in area of communications and signal processing (IEEE ICC – MACOM Workshop – 2014, EUSIPCO 2013, IEEE ICON 2013, IEEE ICME 2012, EUSIPCO 2012, IEEE ICME 2011, etc) He received best-paper award at IEEE MMSP 2010 and his paper “Scalable Video Multicast using Expanding Window Fountain Codes” was runner-up (top 5) for IEEE Transactions on Multimedia best-paper award (2011). He is an area Editor (coding theory and network coding) for Elsevier Int’l Journal on Electronics and Communications. He leads UNS (University of Novi Sad) groups involved in two FP7 projects: FP7-PEOPLE-IRSES-2011 QoSTREAM and FP7-PEOPLE-ITN-2013 ADVANTAGE.
